  • Understanding Our Mission

Meet Amy Evans, the visionary force behind Able.

While pursuing her university studies, Amy faced the challenges of a long-term mental health condition and is currently awaiting assessments for autism and ADHD. When she received her diagnoses, Amy was entering into an important application cycle for student and graduate roles. She knew she would have to disclose her health condition, but she was unsure how and didn’t know what support was available.

It soon became clear to us that Amy’s experience was not unique - that's when the idea for Able came to life. Our mission is to enlighten and educate, fostering understanding and inclusivity; we're here to guide you through your early careers journey and help to educate prospective employers.

We've put together an easy-to-digest platform, a vibrant blog, and active social media channels to keep things simple and engaging for you - but we would not be able to do so without the help from our volunteers.

  • Building Our Community

Our commitment lies in creating a secure haven where neurodiverse and disabled individuals can explore their place within the early careers landscape and flourish.

In September 2023, we will be launching ValuABLE, a dedicated platform for students and graduates, and EnABLE, tailored for employers - both within the LinkedIn network.

Engage in meaningful conversations with fellow applicants and established legal professionals, gaining invaluable insights and guidance.
